Bouquet

Beautiful weather brought us outside with Ava's new FAVORITE thing, scissors. 

When she heard the word "bouquet" she was absolutely thrilled to grab her scissors and get to work.

The result was stellar.

Masterpiece

One of our favorite stops in Chicago is the art institute.  Early on Saturdays the kids can draw, glue, paint, depending on the day. 
  In Ava's case, getting to cut lots and lots of paper into lots and lots of little pieces was the cat's pajamas.

 

This girl LOVES life, loves to create, loves to laugh.  i am humbled daily that God created her with the knowledge we would have the privilege of raising her.
 

She is a work of art!

For we are God's masterpiece.  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.  Ephesians 2:10

Fourth of July

We had a marvelous time in Oklahoma over the 4th of July. 

Nanny spoiled my girl with a cookie jar.  It may not show, but in pretty much every picture Ava had a cookie in her hand.

My sweet girl loves her some sweets!
