My family came home yesterday to 20 tea cups on the counter and lots of yummies uneaten in the kitchen as I had the pleasure of hosting 2 dozen of our ladies from church for morning tea. Ava had been at a vocal competition for her sweet sister Lily and was exhausted. She evidently felt she missed the party when she woke as she ran and set up tea for two the moment she got up.
She wanted to hostess me :)
She is lovely inside and out.
Le Petit Oiseau is french for Little Bird. We are calling our precious little china doll Little Bird as we wait for our voyage to China to get her. This is our journey from meeting our Petit Oiseau on December 13, 2011 via referral through holding her in our arms and seeing the Lord's hand as we become a family of six. Many who read this blog have prayed for this journey and for that we are eternally grateful.

Memories...
There is a little spot in our living room where I keep our photo album from China. It is truly one of our most precious possessions and probably one I should keep high on a shelf.
But I don't because this little girl simply LOVES it. I find her here. Remembering. I am not sure exactly what she remembers, but I see her walk away with a smile and my heart smiles right along with her.
