Le Petit Oiseau is french for Little Bird. We are calling our precious little china doll Little Bird as we wait for our voyage to China to get her. This is our journey from meeting our Petit Oiseau on December 13, 2011 via referral through holding her in our arms and seeing the Lord's hand as we become a family of six. Many who read this blog have prayed for this journey and for that we are eternally grateful.

Recovery
God is faithful. Long day. Beautiful face and spirit. We are ever so grateful. She ordered a frapacino in the OR. We are trusting in a sweet recovery. She'll be home tomorrow!
Our Healer
Last year on a walk, I found a wee little bird who had fallen out of its nest, much too soon.
We brought it home, made and makeshift nest out of a basket and spent our days crushing bananas, berries and worms.
Miraculously that little bird thrived even with our most fearful of efforts.
Today, Ava rest in the hands of the great physician. We then should not be afraid. Her life, her spirit, and her joy are a testimony to a great spirit within her and the One that walk her through surgery today.
We pray God guides the hands of her surgeon and that Avis senses the Healer and Comforter as she recovers. Please keep our little bird in your prayers.
