I had convinced myself once we had her picture, the waiting would become easier.
I had told myself when we knew she was healthy and well cared for; the waiting would go by quickly.
I had told myself once we had PA and the NVC letter and Article 5, my patience would sustain me.
I was wrong.
I long to hold this little girl in my arms. I long to celebrate her 2nd birthday with her at the end of March. And I long to tell her she has a mama, and a baba, and a family, forever and ever.
That’s when I know I have to wait on the Lord. He has this timing orchestrated and has since before time was invented. He is preparing our hearts in ways I could not ask or imagine. We pray for this sweet child every day knowing her heart is being prepared and for that we are eternally grateful.
