We had a very early morning. The thirteen hour time difference between Beijing and Chicago has proven challenging; however we have managed to take it on, and enjoyed an educational and cultural day of sightseeing this ancient city.
George, Our CCAI guide took us along a historical trail as we walked through the Forbidden City all the way to the throne room of the Emperor.
We are trying to absorb as much as we can to capture memories and snapshots for our baby daughter. She is on our mind as our Gotcha Day draws near.
